SYVF is dedicated to contributing to the improvement of young people's lives through the arts.
The Empowerment through Performance workshop series is a program that was created by SYVF specifically to help young people find and share their voice.
Participants include young people from very diverse backgrounds. Some are affiliated with community support networks and organizations, some are talented individuals living in remote or rural areas. Through unique performance techniques, character development and team-building exercises, self-esteem is developed and creativity is nurtured.
All have a need to learn to share their voice.
